Terminata la fase di testing del nuovo controller Denon DN-SC2000.
Il test è stato effettuato utilizzando Virtual DJ 7 Pro con la mappatura
acquisita dal sito ufficiale della Denon (
www.denondj.com - www.denondj.eu ).
Ricordiamo che Denon fornisce la mappatura del controller da utilizzare con i
due software certificati per l'utilizzo immediato del DN-SC2000. I
software in questione sono: Traktor nella verione Pro o nella
versione LE, Virtual DJ anch'esso nella verione Pro e
nell'al versione LE.
Come segnalato precedentemente ho svolto il mio test con Virtual DJ Pro 7
utilizzano un PC e un Mac Book Pro. Dopo aver inserito il file
della mappatura nella cartella indicata nel file pdf abbinato al download, si
può riscontrare che il controller viene immediatamente riconosciuto dal software
e ci permettere immediatamente di usufruire delle innumerevoli funzioni di
interazione con il software.
Ricordiamo che il DN-SC2000 non è dotato di scheda audio per cui
l'utilizzo del controller è vincolato all'integrazione di un mixer dotato di
interfaccia midi e scheda audio per poter supportare la sezione mix del
software.
Tutti i comandi rispondono senza latenza ed in maniera semplice ed affidabile.
Sia su PC che su Mac tutto funziona perfettamente ed in maniera
stabile.

The DN-SC2000 is optimized for TRAKTOR® Pro users and natively supported by
Virtual DJ. The unit connects with the user’s PC or Mac® via a USB 2.0
interface. The DN-SC2000 includes many advanced functions, including
MIDI-mapable capability, auto loop function, a wide range of effects, rugged
pitch slider, pitch lock, automatic beat sync, durable rubber button controls
and much more.
The feature-rich DN-SC2000 also includes:
- Newly designed, high-resolution 105-mm touch-sensitive jog wheel
- Smooth 100-mm long Pitch Slider with high 14-bit resolution
- Pitch Lock function, which holds the pitch value position until the NULL point
is reached when using both layers for control
- File browse navigation buttons and rotary encoder file selector knob with
illuminated ring
- Large size Cue and Play buttons
- Eight (4 + 4) Hot Cue/Sampler buttons with dual bank selector key
- Auto Loop Button with Beat Jump (Loop Cut) and Manual Loop In/Out buttons
- EFX Unit 1 and 2 layer button with color change LED

The DN-SC2000 measures 6.7″ (17.02 cm) x 1.2″ (3.05cm) x 8.6″ (20.47cm) and
weighs approximately 2.9 lb. (1.32 Kg).
Power is supplied through the USB connection (i.e. no wall adapter needed), and
a 1-meter (39.37″) USB cable is included.
The unit also features a Kensington lock security slot terminal to prevent theft.
